MSS is a block away (5 min walk) from the Fremont Street Experience. I have stayed at Main Street Station twice. We really enjoy staying downtown and will definitely stay here again on future trips. Location is very nice with a walk-way attaching it to the California Hotel/Casino and just minutes from Freemont Street. For dinner we enjoyed the Paradise buffet at the Freemont. Anyway, you might want to check what the specialty is beforehand to avoid disappointment. I verified that there was still a T-Bone Tuesday sign posted outside on the street. The second night was supposed to be T-Bone Tuesday, but it has apparently changed to BBQ Tuesday. The first was Saturday night and instead of prime rib it seemed like an overcooked roast beef. For breakfast the buffet was very good, but the two times we ate dinner there I was a little disappointed. Not enough noise to bother us, but if you're a light sleeper you might want to request the other side. Our room was on the 12th floor facing the freeway and there was a lot of road noise. The room was nice, the staff friendly, and the buffet was pretty good.
